Pacifica String Quartet

The season concludes on April 28 with an audience favorite, the Pacifica String Quartet. Named the quartet-in-residence at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, the Pacifica was also the quartet-in-residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and received a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance. This season they are welcoming a new principal violinist. “The playing by Pacifica Quartet…was characterized by immaculate precision, on-the-mark intonation, incisive rhythms and a sense of give-and-take” (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette).
