Spring '24 Issue - Best Of Winners Announced & More
The Ensō String Quartet, its name is derived from the Japanese Zen painting of the circle, was founded at Yale University in 1999 and is based in New York City. The quartet has won numerous awards, including top prizes at the Concert Artists Guild competition and the Banff International String Quartet Competition. The Ensō will perform on March 3. “…the Enso String Quartet was the finest musical performance I have heard this season. ‘Strong words,’ you may say. Yes they are, and I stand irrevocably behind them” (Charleston Daily Mail).
